In 2020, Kingston Animal Rescue enters its second decade. What began as a small group of volunteers struggling to make a difference, has grown into an organization that has saved 800+ animals, championed a pet store by-law, and maintained a commitment to animal welfare for more than 10 years.
With an eye to our long-term sustainability and rooted in our origins as a volunteer-run, passion-led, and action-oriented group, we are proud to announce the creation of a part-time position: Administrative Coordinator.
The development of this role reflects our vision for the rescue’s continued active presence in our community, our assessment of organizational needs, and is made possible by our organization’s financial stability.
We are grateful for the support that has made this growth possible and look forward to serving animals – and our community – for many years to come.
