Pip joined us a few weeks ago. She’s a beautiful 12-year-old gal.

She came to us after her guardian passed away. Shortly after this happened she suffered a seizure and was diagnosed with diabetes. She was treated for this, but was scheduled to be surrendered to a shelter in the Toronto-area, which had deemed her unadoptable and likely to be euthanized.

Instead she came to KAR, is receiving the care she needs for her new diagnosis, and loving life in her foster home.
