Meet Opal!

Opal is an independent little lady with just the right balance of affection and personality. While she isn't the clingiest cat, she absolutely knows what she likes-and isn't shy about asking for it! Rather than curling up in your lap, Opal prefers to be right by your side, happily keeping you company and leaning in for pets whenever the mood strikes.

She's been doing well meeting new people and seems to genuinely enjoy making new friends, showing off her easygoing and confident nature. Opal isn't overly toy-driven, but every now and then she'll surprise you with a burst of zoomies, racing around and showing off her playful side before settling back into her relaxed routine.

Opal would be a wonderful match for someone who appreciates a cat with a bit of independence, but who still wants that special companionship and those sweet "pet me now" moments. She's the kind of cat who will quietly become your little shadow-always nearby, always part of your day.

Opal was surrendered to the rescue after her previous family was unable to afford her medical care. She was diagnosed with a bladder stone which required surgical removal.

She has not required any further treatment, but should continue to have her bladder health monitored during her routine veterinary visits. She is on a prescription veterinary diet - Royal Canin Urinary SO - to help prevent any recurrence of bladder stones. This diet will be required life long unless otherwise indicated by a veterinarian.

Opal has been spayed, dewormed, treated for fleas and is vaccinated with both core and non-core vaccines and tested negative for Feline Immunodeficiency and Leukemia viruses. Her microchip is pending.
