Meet Darlin’, a gorgeous and sweet orange tabby recently taken in by the rescue. Found as a stray, Darlin’ is one of the lucky ones. He managed to find a caring family that contacted Kingston Animal Rescue when they realized Darlin’s right eye was severely damaged. Likely suffering the effects of a chronic eye infection, Darlin’ underwent surgery to correct an issue with his third eye lid.
His surgery went really well yesterday. So well in fact that he didn't have to stay overnight as originally planned. He needed surgery to correct an issue with his third eye lid, the result of a long-running infection. His foster home reports he's eating, drinking and enjoying life. Though, he's not a fan of his cone collar.
