Bugsy came to us after he experienced an accident that left him paralyzed in his back end - he was unable to use his back legs to get around. After consulting a few vets we were able to determine that he wasn't in any pain and his prognosis was pretty good so long as he seemed happy.

To ensure his happiness we opted to bring a baby male guinea pig, Bruce, into the rescue to bond with Bugsy. Bugsy and Bruce became fast friends. Given Bugsy's condition we always expected he would stay with us for life.

To our absolute delight, the boys were adopted by a wonderful lady who had experience caring for special-needs animals. Bugsy and Bruce went to their very own and very special forever home in September and they have settled in wonderfully.
